Farming Estate West Dorset

A large farming estate near Beaminster, Dorset called upon Gregorys Groundworks to carry out extensive works to one of their satellite farms. Having heard of GG’s extremely high standards above and below ground, the client was keen to see both function and form in the finished product. Arriving on site with years of experience and knowledge behind them, Gregorys were able to advise upon the best course of action to create the best possible finished article in challenging conditions given the time of year and ground conditions on site.

Totally renewing the stormwater drainage system, creating a completely new raised yard and retaining it all with a gabion basket wall and bespoke metal railing. This project and its success led to further works from the client, most notably the supply and installation of a complete cattle handling system. Again, dealing with the entire project from start to finish, from setting out of levels, to the design and installation of the stormwater drainage, all excavations deep and shallow, the supply and installation of bespoke elements of metalwork and supply and installation of concrete surfaces to a very high standard.

GG continues to regularly carry out work for this client, such is their satisfaction with GG’s standard and efficiency of work.

Commercial Buildings at Enterprise Park

Francis Mead Developments knew Gregorys Groundworks reputation stood for efficiency, overcoming any problems and high standards. These traits became invaluable when taking a project from conception to completion for FMD. Working on a brownfield site always brings challenges, and this particular project constructing 5 small industrial units on a site mainly constructed in the 1940’s was no different. Overcoming problems found underground was taken in GG’s stride as they diverted multiple underground services, renewing them to modern standards whilst keeping disruption for other users to an absolute minimum. With complex challenges in the footings and services, nothing phased the team as they overcame each element.

Gregorys were able to take the design and run with it. From demolition, onto setting out and seeing it through to a completed project, Francis Mead Developments could not have been happier with the service received.

Recycling for a Local Aggregates Company

County Town Aggregates required an efficient and cost effective means to process their soil and rubble into commodities. They called upon Gregorys Groundworks to provide exactly that. Providing a competitive plant hire rate, Gregorys were able to bring in their extensive array of plant to carry out the crushing of CTA’s stockpiled rubble into a British Standardised and graded product. This efficient and cost effective process meant that consequently CTA were able to pass the savings onto their customers meaning increased output for them and very happy customers.

Once the crushing was completed, Gregorys focus shifted to soil screening. With a short weather window to contend with, GG were able to push on and successfully create a high standard – as well as a high volume – of product for CTA’s customers.

GG understood the need for efficient processing to maximise volume and minimise cost.

Using our recycling services means we can minimise your waste offsite, and maximise the potential from the product at hand.
